Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child this year in kindergarten! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I though you might like to know a little about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Tyler. We have been married for a little over 4 years and we have a sweet little boy, Cameron, who will be one in October. We also have a dog named Maggee. As a family we love to go on walks and be outside. We love to watch movies and spend time with both of our extended families.
I live in Lee’s Summit, so I have a drive but don't mind it. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Central Missouri with a double bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Along with my two bachelor degrees, I am proud to say that I completed my masters in May 2015 in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction!
This will be my fourth year teaching kindergarten at Chouteau. I love teaching kindergarten; it is the best! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students.I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to
become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!
A few of my favorites:
Color: turquoise and pink
Season: spring
Food: BBQ
Drink: Sonic diet peach green tea or diet coke/pepsi
Book: anything by Jodi Picoult or Nicholas Sparks
Movie: The Notebook
Sport: soccer and baseball
Hobbies: family, baking, crafting, reading
